The Extreme Sailing Series

This next post is going to be about one of the biggest race series in the sport the "Extreme Sailing Series", a  global stadium sailing series which is on it's ninth season 2015. It started in 2007 with the aim to revolt the inshore Sailing.

The boats used for it are "Extreme 40" and their constructor "took the biggest and fastest boat at the Olympics - then made it twice as big and even faster"(http://www.extremesailingseries.com/about)

In 2015 the series, which was set over a time of 11 month, was located on 8 different venues on 3 different continents.

The venues this year were/are:

6.Saint Petersburg, Russia

7.Istanbul, Turkey

8.Sydney, Australia
